Scares and laughs share top billing in this satiric ghost story that finds a successful novelist facing his personal demons in a house with an equally troubled past. Instead, Roger literally begins to see the skeletons in his closets and, with help from his annoying neighbor (George Wendt), determines that the evil forces he must confront are also keeping his son a prisoner in another dimension.
