The Brady family convenes at the pub as Doug and Julie arrive with the latest batch of translated letters. They read about Colleen meeting Santo once again. Santo surprises Colleen with the news that his wife has died, and Colleen can't help feeling guilty. Santo pulls Colleen into another passionate kiss, but Colleen insists that she feels nothing. Colleen tries to cover her feelings by making a quick exit, but Santo holds up her scarf, and taunts her to come get it from him. Santo makes another move on her and Colleen socks him, sending him spiraling over the cliff. Colleen manages to pull Santo up. Santo apologizes to Colleen, telling her that he should have let her walk away, and now he will. Tony sneaks into the DiMera mansion and plunges a morphine-filled syringe into Stefano. Stefano starts to succumb to the drug, and Tony snatches the all-important key to ending the DiMera vendetta. Stefano manages to grab the key back and tosses it to Bart before passing out. Tony grabs a sword from the wall and warns Bart to hand over the key. Bart swallows the key. Andre arrives and challenges Tony to a fight to the finish. Tony and Andre duel, and Andre accidentally drives his sword through Bart. Tony takes off as Stefano awakens and learns that Bart's been mortally wounded. Stefano desperately tries to get Bart to tell him where the key is, but Bart dies in his arms before revealing its whereabouts. EJ, drunk, fantasizes about shooting Lucas dead and winning over Sami. Kate blasts EJ for missing a meeting with the S.E.C. Kate slaps EJ after his attitude infuriates her. EJ drags Kate to the edge of the pier and threatens to throw her off. EJ slips about wanting to kill Lucas, and Kate warns him that she'll bury him if she harms Lucas. EJ privately vows that Lucas will die today.

Spike sets a bomb under Miguel's bed, but he's attacked by Tabitha's monstrous housecat, Fluffy. Ivy begs Pretty to allow Fancy and Luis to marry. Pretty wants Fancy to suffer as she has. Pandemonium spreads throughout the prison's makeshift wedding chapel as the blackmailer makes an appearance at the back of the hall. Julian wants to protect Vincent's secret and points the group in the wrong direction, but Luis finds and tackles the blackmailer. Luis removes the person's mask and is shocked at who he sees. Sheridan confronts Vincent, angry that he hasn't saved Luis like he promised. Vincent tells Sheridan that he'll keep his side of the bargain if Sheridan kills Theresa.
