DAYS OF OUR LIVES

Billie realizes Steve has escaped from the state mental hospital and is concerned for her well-being, especially when Steve asks her to help him get out of town. EJ shows up, unaware Steve is there, and asks Billie to the Penthouse Grill. Billie covers and says she's busy having a heart-to-heart talk with Chelsea. EJ sees Chelsea and Sami at the grill and finds out that Chelsea and Billie didn't have any heart-to-heart. EJ returns to Billie's and confronts her about her lies, as Steve hides in the shadows. Chelsea opens up to Sami about her problems. Sami asks Chelsea to be a bridesmaid in her wedding. Sami gets a note and runs off to the ladies' room, and EJ wants to know why. Chelsea tells him she has no idea. EJ sees Celeste sneaking out of the restaurant, and he figures out that Celeste and Sami had some sort of meeting. Celeste had met with Sami in the ladies' room, warning her that Stefano is obsessed with her baby and thinks it's a "gift from god." Celeste worries that if Sami is carrying EJ's child, the Dimeras will take it from her. Kayla tells Roman about Steve's escape from the mental hospital. Roman thinks Steve could be with Billie, but when Kayla calls her, Billie covers and says she has the flu and hasn't seen anyone. Kayla tells Roman that she thinks Steve is with EJ, and the two go off to question him. EJ seems surprised to hear that Steve escaped, and denies having any part in it. EJ suggests that Kayla should ask Billie if she wants to find Steve. Kayla turns to Marlena, admitting she needs her psychological help. EJ meets with a doctor and finds out that Stefano's transplant went well, but he's having problems with his white blood count and may need to find a bone marrow donor.

Steve and Billie are out of control. EJ tries to keep an eye on Sami. Willow turns to Nick for comfort.

Whitney overhears Chad and his boyfriend talking and misunderstands, thinking Chad fears that the boyfriend wants her. Spike tries to convince Jessica that Paloma and Noah don't care about her when she spots them kissing. At the Crane cabin, Luis tells Sheridan they need to talk about her confession in the car. Sheridan covers, saying she was just frenzied. Sheridan tells Luis that they'll always share a bond because of Marty. Fancy tells Chris that Sheridan wants Luis all to herself. Theresa wants to continue the ceremony as soon as Jared is out of surgery. Ethan is relieved when Eve refuses, telling her that Jared is too weak. Theresa gets a call from the blackmailer and gives an update on Jared's condition. Ethan overhears the entire conversation and realizes Theresa is marrying Jared to help Luis and Miguel. Ethan pleads with Theresa to tell him what the blackmailer has on her. Valerie tells Eve and Julian that she's found information on their son. Valerie doesn't have his current whereabouts, but is able to tell them that their son was brutally abused.
