DAYS OF OUR LIVES

Steve is not pleased to see Kayla when she visits him at the state hospital. Kayla says she saw EJ's name on the guest registry and asks what that was about. Steve stonewalls and tells Kayla to leave him alone, for her own good. Kayla refuses to back down and warns Steve that she'll tell Stephanie what's going on. Kayla's threat strikes a nerve with Steve, who doesn't want to involve Stephanie. Steve grabs Kayla, pretends to hold a knife to her back, and escapes from the hospital. Billie, with Sami and Lucas, is relieved when Chelsea comes home after a rough night at the police station. Chelsea goes off on Billie, saying she wants nothing to do with her. Billie tells Chelsea that she made a mistake and didn't intentionally hurt her. Billie points out that she's forgiven Chelsea countless times, and asks Chelsea to forgive her. Chelsea leaves with Sami. EJ comes over to talk business with Billie, who's not in the mood. Billie tells EJ about the situation with Chelsea, and EJ offers to pay for legal expenses if it comes to that. Lucas says that he, Sami and Kate can take care of Chelsea. EJ runs into Sami and asks about the amniocentesis. Sami says she'll she'll get the results in a week, and EJ says he's looking forward to it. Lucas kisses Sami and says how lucky he is to be marrying her, but Sami looks over his shoulder and sees EJ watching from his doorway. Billie is shocked when Steve shows up at her apartment. Belle and Shawn are relieved when Claire's condition improves. Gabby offers to let them stay at the hotel, but Shawn turns down the offer, not wanting to stay where he can't pull his own weight. Belle insists that Claire needs to be in a clean and safe place. Gabby overhears and tells Shawn she needs help fixing her boat's engine, and says they can stay at the hotel if Shawn's willing to work on her boat. Shawn agrees, provided Duck approves. Duck gives it the thumbs up, to Shawn's surprise. EJ tells Willow that he took back the check because the last thing he needs is a paper trail, and warns Willow to keep her mouth shut. Willow isn't worried about the police, since she's set someone else up to take the fall.

Spike accosts Jessica in her bedroom, telling her she'll never be rid of him. Spike tries to manipulate Jessica's insecurities, and urges her to leave her family and friends. Noah and Paloma flirt with each other, unaware of what's going on in Jessica's bedroom. Chad has to keep his anger towards his lover in check when Whitney shows up. Sam and the police show up, and Luis forces Fancy to arrest him so she won't get in trouble. Luis has Sheridan slip out the back. Chris pretends to have just arrived, and Fancy figures out that he was the one who tipped off the police to Luis' whereabouts. Fancy lets Luis escape when no one is looking. Sheridan finds Luis and demands he get in her car so she can help him get away.

Luis wants answers. Ethan gets an earful. Eve and Julian get shocking news.
