Bo and Hope try to comfort Marlena, who fears John won't make it through his surgery. Marlena tells Bo that she doesn't blame him for John's attack; she knows John wanted to take EJ down. Marlena and Bo discuss what John was trying to tell her about a "killer" before being taken into surgery. Shawn apologizes to Bo for not trusting him about EJ, and the two bond. John's safely out of surgery, but his prognosis is unclear. Chelsea almost catches Nick and Billie making love when she comes home, but Nick hides out in Chelsea's bedroom. Chelsea finds Nick's belt and realizes that Billie has been with a man. Nick makes an unsuccessful attempt at escape. Nick slips out while Chelsea's in the bathroom, but Chelsea catches him in the living room. Nick covers, and says he has information about her Internet lover. Mimi and Bonnie visit Patrick in jail. Bonnie's upset about the skeleton Mimi found in the church, worried that the investigation will uncover a secret that will damage her family. Patrick, aware of the secret, is more concerned about himself. Bonnie calls her younger son, Connor, telling him to come home and help before the family implodes. Shawn comforts Belle while she's waiting to hear about John's surgery, and the two become closer. Bellie is surprised to see Beverly, the woman who fawned over Claire at the Java Café. Belle is suspicious when she learns Beverly is from Child Protective Services.

Fox threatens to make sure Eve never practices medicine again if she tells anyone about the contents of his medical file. Eve warns Julian not to let Fox start married life with a lie. Miguel arrives at the wedding to tell Kay everything about Fox. Fox gets a gun from a Crane security guard, and goes looking for Miguel. Simone and Jessica help Kay prepare for the ceremony. Fancy has difficulty sleeping, unaware that the peeping tom is hiding in her closet. Sam tells Ivy not to ruin Kay's big day, but Ivy rushes off. Grace calls to say her plane is delayed, and urges Sam to make amends with Kay and walk her down the aisle. Theresa's stunned when she sees that Gwen returned her wedding ring to Ethan. Theresa's not pleased when Ethan says his marriage isn't over. Theresa won't hear it when Ethan tries to talk to her about dumping Jared. Gwen panics when Ethan hangs up on her. Gwen rushes to find Ethan when she fears that Theresa will steal her husband.
