DAYS OF OUR LIVES

Lucas asks Kate for a job. Kate says it's not possible, since she's still working with EJ. Sami and Lucas are not pleased when EJ tells them he's been cleared of all charges. Lucas refuses when EJ offers him a job. Sami and Kate try to convince Lucas to change his mind. Lucas agrees to speak with EJ, who covers his interest in Sami. Lucas tells EJ that he has to keep his distance from Sami and Will, telling him to move out of their apartment building. EJ agrees, and Lucas accepts the job. Kate is pleased and Sami is shocked when Lucas gives them the news. Kate tells Sami that a TV producer is interested in profiling Sami and her heroics saving Lucas. Kate warns EJ that he better not be up to one of his trick, hiring Lucas. EJ feigns innocence, but when alone, he makes a toast, saying the closer he is to Lucas, the closer he will be to Sami. Nick and Chelsea realize they're being followed to the airport by Philip and Willow. Nick comes up with a plan and goes to Maggie's to pick something up. Nick has Chelsea distract Philip as they wait in the security line at the airport. Nick and Chelsea make it through airport security, but Philip gets stopped when the guard finds a knife that Nick planted in Philip's bag. Philip is furious as Nick and Chelsea board the plane. Shawn, Belle and Claire are unable to sleep at the safe house. Claire wakes up when a stereo blasts music, and Shawn risks his life to make the partiers turn it down. Claire's unable to get back to sleep because she's teething. Shawn gets medication and calms Claire down. A cop shows up at the safe house.

Shawn's busted. Victor and Philip clash. Chelsea and Nick bond.

Jessica tries to convince Paloma and herself that Spike does love her. Paloma tells Jessica about her budding relationship with Noah, causing Jessica to want a loving, respectful relationship. Ivy physically assaults Luis, thinking he didn't do enough to protect Fancy. Theresa's beaming as she has family breakfast with Ethan and their children. Whitney isn't so sure that things can work out with Ethan, but Theresa urges Whitney to be happy for her. Luis and Pilar wonder why he can't remember anything about the night of Fancy's attack.
On the next Passions:
Miguel's arrested. Fancy breaks down. Whitney pushes Theresa to come clean.
