Nick is fired from the hospital after admitting that he stole the hairbrush and faked Sami's babies' DNA results. Nick assures Kate that he left her name out of his confession. Nick orders Kate to give Chelsea the $50,000 he won in Vegas, and tell her it's a gift from Kate for Chelsea's college tuition. Nick tells Kate that he wants to make sure that Chelsea won't grow up to be like her. Belle and Sami sit vigil beside an unconscious Roman. Sami tells Belle and Marlena that she's going to do whatever it takes to end the vendetta. Sami vows to make Stefano pay with his life if Roman dies. Lucas shows up and calms Sami down. Roman goes into cardiac arrest. The medical staff discovers Roman's lungs are filling with fluid, and he has to be operated on immediately. Marlena wants to give Belle an engagement party, but she doesn't want one. Belle admits to Marlena that while she loves Shawn, she's frustrated by him. Belle tells Marlena how Shawn turned down a well-paying job, meaning they won't have enough money for a house. Marlena tells Belle to help out by going to school, finishing her degree and getting a job, and Belle likes the idea. Stephanie is outraged that Steve had Bo run a background check on Jeremy. Steve insists it's a good thing he did, telling Stephanie about Jeremy's multiple arrests. Stephanie stuns Steve by admitting that she already knows about Jeremy's record. Jeremy tells Steve he's changed and leaves so Steve and Stephanie can talk. Stephanie points out that Steve was also in trouble with the law when he was younger. Steve tells Stephanie that he doesn't want her dating Jeremy. Stephanie makes her choice, saying goodbye to Steve. Chelsea refuses to spy on Stephanie for Jett. Jett warns Chelsea that if she doesn't, Jeremy will most likely sacrifice Stephanie when he's arrested. Jett tells Chelsea that she can protect Stephanie by telling him everything that Stephanie knows about Jeremy. Chelsea reluctantly agrees, telling Jett that she's doing this for Stephanie, since she no longer trusts him. Jett's hurt, but keeps his job as his first priority. Chelsea calls Stephanie. Stephanie shows up and pours her heart out to Chelsea, and Chelsea realizes she can't betray Stephanie to Jett. Chelsea calls Nick, asking him to meet her.

Sami's out for revenge. Chelsea and Nick grow closer. Stephanie wants to move in with Jeremy.

Fancy's nowhere to be found as the jailhouse wedding begins. Luis is worried that Fancy has changed her mind, and Noah and Paloma try to convince him otherwise. Fancy is horrified to be face-to-face with Pretty, her face disfigured by a scar that Fancy caused years earlier. Pretty threatens to tell Luis the whole twisted story if Fancy doesn't call off the wedding. Sheridan eavesdrops on Fancy and Pretty, taking sick pleasure in Fancy's torment. Tabitha admits to Julian that she knew Vincent was his son, but didn't have the heart to dash Julian's hopes. Tabitha demands to know whether Julian will speak up and save Luis' life by telling everyone that Vincent is the murderer.
