Bo convinces Shawn to go through legal channels rather than take Steve up on his offer to go after Philip in his seaplane. Gabby rushes in with a portable marine radio, saying that Belle's trying to make contact. Shawn loses the reception before Belle can reveal the name of the island where Philip is taking her and Claire. Philip blasts Belle for using the boat's radio without permission. Philip gets Shawn back on the radio and realizes Shawn has no idea where Philip's taking Belle and Claire. Steve wants to know why Bo's against him helping Shawn. Bo tells Steve he's a walking time bomb, and that he doesn't trust him. Shawn, desperate to save Belle and Claire, doesn't care if Steve's been sent by EJ to kill them, saying he'll go with Steve if he's willing to go after Philip. Bo agrees to join them, and Shawn and Gabby share an emotional good-bye. Shawn scans the ocean with infrared binoculars and spots Philip's boat. Belle tells Philip that he's endangering their lives, begging him to stop the madness, and to allow her to radio for help. Philip smashes the radio, destroying their only means of communicating with the outside world. Steve drops Shawn off in an inflatable raft. Steve asks Bo if he got Shawn to go on record about EJ, arousing Bo's suspicions. Bo tells Steve that he did, and plans to use it to nail EJ. Steve tells Bo that he can't let him do that. Shawn hoists himself aboard Philip's boat, still bleeding from his gunshot wound. Sami and Lucas reel from their discovery that the mansion they're restoring is Maison Blanche, Stefano's former home. Sami wants to have the mysterious letter they found translated when EJ suddenly appears. Sami and Lucas question why EJ followed them, but he claims Stefano asked him to supervise the house's restoration. Sami and Lucas don't buy EJ's story. EJ privately admits to Sami that he wants to "patch things up" between them, and Sami blasts him for raping her. Sami makes EJ acknowledge what he did and apologize. EJ offers to leave Salem and stay out of her life forever if she'll have an amniocentesis to determine who the baby's father is. Lucas tells Sami that it's an opportunity to ensure an "EJ-free" existence, and Sami mulls it over. Celeste appears in the family cemetery and tells EJ she has a message from Tony that Stefano's condition is deteriorating and they need the stem cells immediately.

Shawn and Philip fight for their lives. Bo and Steve get in a deadly struggle. EJ's about-face stuns Lucas.

Kay and Pilar are worried that someone tried to smother Miguel in his sleep. Fox and Julian act surprised by the news. Fox steams as he watches how tender Kay is with Miguel. Sheridan demands Spike find a way to get her back in the prison. Noah questions Chad about his recent lies. Noah's floored when Chad admits that his whole life is a lie because he's sleeping with a man. Ethan and Theresa pursue the half-man/half-woman across the Crane grounds. Fancy tells Luis not to give in to despair, and that somehow they will get him out of prison. Whitney and Paloma wonder why Chad's surprise party emptied out so quickly.

Sheridan forces herself on Luis. Ethan and Theresa come face-to-face with the blackmailer. Paloma urges Whitney to go after the truth.
