Bo hangs up from a call, having just learned from Hope that Adrienne thinks Steve was sent to Tinda Lau to kill him and Shawn. Shawn doesn't want to believe it, desperate to use Steve's seaplane in order to catch up with Philip's boat. Gabby finds a gun in Steve's room. Shawn is forced to accept that Steve plans to kill them. Shawn asks Bo why Steve would want them dead, and Bo reveals that Steve was brainwashed by EJ, who fears that Bo and Shawn are going to put him behind bars. Bo explains that the only way to stop EJ is for Shawn to sign a statement that EJ was working with Patrick. Bo and the police believe that Patrick will be persuaded by Shawn's statement to roll over on EJ. Shawn starts to sign the statement, and Steve returns after gassing up the plane. Shawn quickly hides the statement, as Bo tells Steve they're going to find a boat to catch Philip. Steve wants to know why the change of plans, and Bo is forced to admit he can't trust Steve. Philip becomes hopeful for a future with Belle and Claire. Philip tries to offer Belle a truce, and she says if he's serious, he'll tell her where he's taking her and Claire. Philip finally reveals he's rented a place in Sydney, Australia. Belle's horrified, saying she wants to go back to Salem and be with Shawn. Philip, hurt, tells Belle he couldn't care less where she ends up, but Claire's staying with him. Nick follows Chelsea back to Bo and Hope's house, and tells her why he seemed disinterested in her earlier. Nick comes up with a cover story, saying he was uncomfortable showing affection toward her while living in Maggie's guest room. Chelsea worries that Nick's involved with another woman, but Nick dismisses her fears. Chelsea convinces Nick to move out of Maggie's and rent a place of his own, where he and Chelsea can move their relationship to the next step. Maggie enters Nick's room, and narrowly misses Willow, who finds a hiding place. Maggie finds female panties and make-up. Maggie wonders aloud what Nick is up to, and leaves a note for him saying they need to talk.

Bo and Shawn learn the truth about Steve. Philip tries to call a truce with Belle. Maggie thinks Nick's up to something.

Kay and Pilar are worried that someone tried to smother Miguel in his sleep. Fox and Julian act surprised by the news. Fox steams as he watches how tender Kay is with Miguel. Sheridan demands Spike find a way to get her back in the prison. Noah questions Chad about his recent lies. Noah's floored when Chad admits that his whole life is a lie because he's sleeping with a man. Ethan and Theresa pursue the half-man/half-woman across the Crane grounds. Fancy tells Luis not to give in to despair, and that somehow they will get him out of prison. Whitney and Paloma wonder why Chad's surprise party emptied out so quickly.
