Steve tells Kayla he needs money to get out of town before the cops arrest him. Kayla refuses to help Steve leave town, and says she he needs to stay and get de-programmed. Steve tells Kayla that he has to get away from her and their family before he hurts anyone else. Steve tries to take off, but two cops are there to stop him. Steve realizes Kayla called them, and unsuccessfully tries to escape. Steve angrily warns Kayla that if they lock him up, he's dead, and this time he's never coming back. Sami covers when Lucas finds her at EJ's apartment. Lucas accuses EJ of lying to them, saying that hasn't lived up to his promise to move out. EJ assures them that he's working at it. Lucas gives EJ a lesson in packing up. EJ agrees to find a new place. Sami kisses Lucas, grateful that he trusts her. EJ looks on as Sami and Lucas go off to make love. EJ calls to check in on Stefano's condition, and learns that Stefano made it through the surgery. EJ hopes he pulls through, so they can put their plan for EJ and Sami's baby into action. Max meets up with Mimi. Nick brings the DNA test results from David Lockhart's ring, revealing that traces of Mimi's blood were found. Mimi's stunned. Bonnie comes home on bail and is devastated when she sees the ring. Mimi asks Bonnie how her blood got there. Bonnie tells Mimi that the night David was killed, Mimi saw David beating Bonnie and tried to break it up. David hit Mimi and strangled Bonnie, so Mimi hit David with the fireplace poker and killed him. Mimi reels from the revelation that she killed her father and blocked out the memory. Bonnie says she'll take the rap for the crime, not wanting Mimi to go to jail. Bonnie tells Mimi to get out of town and go to Arizona to look after Connor. Bonnie begs Mimi to go, and Max says he thinks it's for the best. Mimi agrees to leave Salem. Abby and Jed have a casual date at Chez Rouge. Abby admits she's still interested in another guy, but he's seeing someone else. Willow arrives, and Abby tells Jed that she's an ex-prostitute. Jed is upset, admitting that Willow is his sister. Abby feels awful. Maggie turns down Willow's request for her old job back. Jed confronts Willow, who refuses to talk to him. Nick arrives, and says that he, Chelsea, Abby and Jed should go on a double date sometime.

Fox balks at receiving his treatments, which is proof for Miguel that Fox has been feigning his illness. Julian bribes Nurse Stevens into giving Fox placebos in place of the treatment. Spike forces Jessica to meet with a new john at the seedy motel. Jessica reluctantly disrobes as the mysterious john gets ready, applying lipstick. Whitney is incensed when she catches Chad watching a video of him and his lover having sex on his PDA device. Chad's relieved that Whitney doesn't recognize him, but has a lot of explaining to do as to why he's watching "gay porn." Ethan examines the blackmailer's voice-activated box, and Theresa's terrified that the automated responses will reveal her secret. Theresa throws the box in the ocean. Ethan, confused, begs Theresa to confide in him. Sam books Luis on charges of attacking Fancy and killing Rae. Sheridan goes off on Fancy, blaming her for Luis' situation.
