Shawn begs the jailer to release him. Shawn's shocked when Philip and Willow confront him. Philip offers to let Shawn and Belle off if they give him Claire. Shawn refuses and tells Philip what a coward he is. Philip takes off, and learns where Belle's hiding. Nick shows up to pay Shawn's fines, but the jailer says it's now more complicated because Shawn's implicated in a kidnapping. Belle's horrified that Shawn's in jail. Chelsea and Nick promise they'll get him out. Merle tells them that a man and woman are harassing Shawn down at the jail. Belle is distressed when she realizes that Philip has tracked them down. Chelsea bonds with Belle and Claire while Nick goes to bail Shawn out. Philip bangs on the safe house door, yelling for Belle to come out. Kate introduces Sami to the producer and director of a cable show, saying Sami's the perfect candidate to have her story told. Sami is thrilled, but gets nervous when the producers want to stage a re-enactment at the cabin. The producers offer to showcase Sami, and she gladly accepts. Sami goes to tell Lucas the good news, unaware that this is all a set up by Kate, and the producer and director are private investigators Kate hired to prove Sami was lying. EJ shows Lucas plans for expanding Mythic and tells him his role in the company. Lucas is wary about committing to working with a DiMera. EJ thinks Lucas really doesn't want to work with his mother. Will interrupts them, wondering why EJ's out of jail. EJ tries to buy him off with a brand-new Playstation. Lucas and Sami grudgingly realize Lucas needs to work for EJ to support their growing family.

Kay sits by Fox's side while he's in a coma. Eve urges Kay to focus on Fox and put aside her feelings for Miguel. Jared tells Chad he's going to stick around and fight for Theresa. Miguel tells Luis and Pilar that he must have been set up. Luis realizes this is a scheme worthy of Alistair, wondering if he's really dead. Theresa can't wait to break the news to Ethan that Little Ethan is his son. Theresa's interrupted by the news that Miguel is in jail, and she and Ethan go to the police station. Theresa vows to use her money and power to prove Miguel is innocent. Ethan gets angry when a tabloid reporter asks him questions in front of the kids. Fancy fights off an attacker in her room, thinking it's the peeping tom. Fancy turns on the lights, shocked to see that she's attacked Sheridan.
