John, certain EJ is responsible for Patrick's beating, visits Bo in his holding cell. John says he's going to Italy to investigate EJ's connection to the DiMeras. John asks Bo to cover for him with Marlena. Marlena visits Bo and forces him to tell her the truth. Billie visits Bo, ready to bail him out. Marlena confronts John on the plane to Italy and says she's going with him whether he likes it or not. Abe's having difficulty with his eyes. Tek asks Abe for a recommendation so he can get a job elsewhere but Abe refuses. Tek warns Abe that the state is investigating the department because of Abe and Roman's handling of EJ Wells, and says he'll give statements about Abe's lack of attention to the job because of his marital troubles. Abe grudgingly agrees to have Roman write Tek a recommendation. Abe tells Lexie that he's losing his sight again, but he doesn't want anyone to know. Steve tells Billie that although he's taking care of Kayla, he still wants to be with Billie. Steve says he faked his memories to give Kayla the will to live. Kayla tells Lexie she believes Steve is faking the memories of their relationship. Kayla decides to test Steve by taking him to a place that was meaningful to them as a couple. Lexie agrees, only if she goes along to take care of Kayla. Steve wants to tell Kayla the truth, but can't. Kayla invites Steve to join her on her trip and he agrees.

Ivy packs up her things at Sam's, heartbroken when he says he never wants to see her again. Grace calls, and Ivy admits she doesn't want Fox to marry Kay anymore than Grace does. Sam grabs the phone from Ivy, and Grace hears Ivy yell that she will find out what Eve did. Fox and Julian look on as Kay and Simone watch Miguel and Charity. Julian tells Fox not to feel guilty about it. Miguel asks Charity to marry him but she says no. Kay wonders if she still has a chance with Miguel, and Simone is appalled that Kay would want to be with someone who cheated on her. Fancy and Luis kiss in the park, and plan to go to a nearby bed and breakfast. Luis and Fancy are interrupted when a woman is robbed in the park. Ethan is excited to tell Theresa about the evidence he's found against Jared. Ethan calls Theresa, interrupting her and Jared's alone time. Ethan's stung when Theresa says she doesn't want to hear what he has to say. Eve's worried about how Luis and Fancy's relationship will affect Sheridan. Julian tells Eve she's overreacting.
