Shawn and Philip await word on Belle, who's in critical condition. Hope arrives, and talks to Shawn about his split with Mimi. Shawn is adamant that his marriage is over, and Hope tells him to be with the one he loves. Shawn feels Hope should follow her own advice, but she's still conflicted about Bo. Belle asks Philip to promise not to let them harm her baby. Belle slips into unconsciousness, and the prognosis is that they will either lose Belle or her baby. Max works on his race car before the grand prix, as the gloved hand lurks in the shadows. Max drives out, and there's a discarded glove on the garage floor with a note. Stephanie and Kayla are both upset when Steve arrives with Billie. Grandpa Shawn reminds Kayla that she made Steve fall in love with her before, and she can do it again. Max shows up, and Chelsea is irked seeing him pose for photos with Stephanie. The race begins, and Stephanie and Max are neck and neck. Abby goes to the garage and freaks out when she finds the note in the glove. Just as Max is about to win the race, his car catches fire and hits Stephanie's. Bo waits at the courthouse to testify against Patrick. The judge convenes the hearing, and Patrick swears he's innocent. Bo presents the evidence. Cameron, Patrick's attorney, says he'll prove that Bo is trying to railroad Patrick, as Hope walks in. Abe continues to date Lexie in order to investigate her, and Roman warns Abe about dating Lexie to investigate her. Abe makes a date with Lexie for a quiet dinner at home. Tek tells Lexie that Abe's only dating her as part of a police investigation.

A memory comes back to Steve. Tragedy strikes Belle. Abe and Lexie can't fight the feeling.

Jared and Chad look on as Fox and Miguel play a rough game of basketball against each other. Kay is horrified when Tabitha's bowl shows a funeral in Harmony. Kay wants to know who it is, but the casket is closed. Fancy gets concerned for Luis's safety when he's recruited for an undercover sting operation at a mob-run strip club. Luis assures Fancy that he'll have undercover backup in the club. Luis goes to the club, and Sam learns that the backup was exposed and Luis is on his own. Sheridan and Ethan discuss Theresa's will. Sheridan suspects that something happened to make Theresa give up on winning Ethan back. Theresa is relieved to know that the only person who would tell her secret cannot be found. Rebecca is pleased to get a text message from J.T., her tabloid editor lover. Gwen tells Rebecca about Theresa's will, and Rebecca suggests they hire J.T. to figure out Theresa's secrets. Gwen reminds Rebecca that J.T. could easily finish her marriage if he came to Harmony.
