Action director David Twohy (Pitch Black, 2000) helms this psychological thriller set aboard a WWII U.S. submarine whose captain has disappeared under mysterious circumstances. After the dispirited crew, led by Brice (Bruce Greenwood), rescues a stranded British nurse, things go from bad to worse. Not only does a German war boat draw near, but inexplicable events start occurring. Subtle plot shifts and intriguing character relations.
