Shawn, Belle, Max, and Mimi arrive at the hospital, ready to take Claire from Philip. Belle visits a comatose John and tells him what she's doing, and Marlena enters. Belle confesses her plan to Marlena, who offers to help. Belle says she doesn't want to drag them into this, and her and Shawn go off to get Claire. Belle asks Philip if she can hold Claire, and Shawn steps in and picks a fight with Philip, providing Belle the cover to sneak off. Shawn, Belle, Mimi and Max make a clean getaway from Philip. Bo, Hope, and Kayla are at the pub for Sami's award ceremony. Marlena tells them what the kids are doing. Bo wants to stop them, but Marlena convinces him that they have no choice. Will tells Kate to give Sami another chance, or she'll lose him and Lucas. Roman presents the plaque to Sami, and Kate stuns everyone by telling Sami she wants a fresh start. Philip bursts in and announces that anyone who helped Belle and Shawn kidnap Claire is going to pay. Steve finds EJ in a Mexican bar and tries to convince him to come back to Salem. Steve questions EJ about the night John was shot, but EJ won't budge. EJ says he knows about Steve's recurring visions. Steve wants to know more, but EJ refuses and starts to leave. Steve fakes a seizure and tackles EJ. The bartender drags Steve outside, but Steve's managed to steal EJ's wallet and cell phone.

Kay confesses to Simone that she broke her wedding vows with Miguel. Kay wonders if Fox or Miguel is lying. Miguel confronts Fox about his ruse, demanding that he tell the truth to Kay. Jared rushes back to Theresa. Gwen wakes up to an empty bed, and worries that he's with Theresa. Theresa thinks she's making love to Jared, when in reality she's with a drugged Ethan. Fancy dreams she's a high school cheerleader, and Luis is a quarterback.
