Bo warns Shawn to quit working for EJ, but Shawn says he's not going to until Bo gets proof that EJ's crooked. EJ holds a press conference claiming his good name is being besmirched by the Salem police, and announces his plans to sue the department and Bo, Abe, and Roman for 40 million dollars. EJ gets Kate to admit that she she searched his apartment on behalf of John. EJ and his attorney say that if the cops go on TV and apologize to EJ and declare him innocent, he'll drop the law suit. Abe asks Celeste to tell him the meaning of the tarot cards found in EJ's safe deposit box, but Celeste says she can't help him. Abe and Roman go on the air and comply with EJ's demands, having no other choice. Abe tells Bo their investigation of EJ is over. EJ meets with Celeste, who says she kept her mouth shut. EJ reminds Celeste to stay in line, because she is a member of his family. Belle shows Max the newspaper photo and wonders if the Marine in the picture is Philip. Max isn't sure, and they call Mimi and Shawn for their opinions. Shawn says if it is Philip, there's no way he'll save him again. Belle blasts Shawn for being cold and insensitive. Frankie tells Caroline and Grandpa Shawn that he got a job in D.C. and will be leaving Salem in a week. Hope tells Billie that Steve only has a few scattered memories of Kayla, and that he isn't emotionally attached to her because he still has feelings for Billie. Billie wonders what will happen when Kayla learns the truth. Hope urges Billie to talk to Steve about it. At Chez Rouge, Nick gets invited to the Brady thanksgiving, so the family can show their appreciation to him for finding the drug that cured Kayla. Chelsea's unhappy that Nick was invited and she wasn't. Nick invites Chelsea to go as her guest, and she agrees.

Gwen is distressed when Jared says he's leaving town. Ethan overhears Gwen's protests and gets upset. Ethan gives a speech about how committed he is to his wedding vows and tells Gwen to stay out of Theresa's business. Jared tells Ethan he is an idiot for letting Theresa go. A mysterious fortuneteller shows up at Fox and Kay's wedding shower. Theresa is skeptical when she offers to predict the future. Theresa's doubt fades when the fortuneteller reads her tarot cards and accurately describes Theresa's past. Tabitha tells her fears to Endora about the possible horrors that could take place if Charity is in town. Kay tries to tell Fox she's leaving him for Miguel, but Fox is onto her and tries to distract her. Jessica shows up drunk and starts to hassle Kay, providing Fox the distraction he needs, and a chance to stand up for Kay. Charity wanders around the party, barely missing Miguel several times.
