Original Air Date: Friday, September 08, 2006Mimi's attempt to seduce Shawn is interrupted by Belle, who says that Claire can't sleep. Mimi is anxious as Shawn tells Claire a touching bedtime story. Philip calls Shawn and tells him that Chelsea planted the bogus hospital file in Shawn's room. Shawn slips out to the police station. Mimi and Bell argue, and Belle agrees to give Shawn and Mimi their space. Bo drags Chelsea into police station for questioning. Frankie acts as Chelsea's attorney, and she swears she's innocent. Chelsea admits to planting the file, but says she never altered it. Philip is determined to nail Chelsea for faking the records and switching the embryos. Shawn blasts Chelsea, leading to a fistfight with Max. Bo tells Max that Chelsea's prints were found on the DNA report, and an angry Max walks out on her. Philip plans to file civil charges against Chelsea. Jack and Jennifer return to their old office at the newspaper. Jack is determined to trace the murder weapon in the cop killer case. Jack and Jennifer run a check at a pawn shop, and fantasize about being bantering reporters. Jack and Jennifer get a list of people who own the type of gun used in the murder, and see a familiar name on the list.

Fox hides his anger from Kay, and secretly tests her love for him. Fox surprises Kay with an extravagant romantic set-up in Tabitha's living room. After speaking to Luis, Miguel heads home to try to win Kay back. Theresa vows to protect her son's legacy at all costs, and looks forward to beating Ethan in court. Jared confesses that he's falling in love with "Tess." Spike demands to know when Chris will get him the money. Chris explains that it could take time to embezzle the money from Crane Industries. Sheridan has second thoughts about telling Luis how much she still loves him. Luis catches Sheridan before she can slip out without him seeing her.
