Lucas bursts in as Kate is about to conduct a press conference. Lucas demands Kate tell him why she staged the fake documentary to humiliate Sami. Kate says that Sami's lying about what happened that night, and that someone had to help her lift the beam. Lucas doesn't care, saying the only thing that matters is that Sami saved his life. Lucas warns Kate that he'll cut her out of his life if she keeps pushing him. Sami sees Billie flirting with EJ, and privately warns Billie to beware. Billie explains that EJ's only interested in her business proposal. Lucas warns Billie about EJ. Sami shows up at Kate's presentation and switches her film with the surveillance disk she took from Roman. EJ arrives, and the press grills him about his recent notoriety. Kate proclaims EJ's innocence, and goes on about the high moral standards she and EJ insist on at Mythic. Kate wants to prove her point with her film, but when she starts it, it turns out to be footage of Kate and EJ tearing each other's clothes off in a frenzied lust. John and Marlena, unable to communicate any other way, meet in their dreams. John tells Marlena that he has something very important to tell her, something EJ said the night he was shot: Steve was brainwashed by the DiMeras. Marlena wants more info and hits John with a barrage of questions, but she wakes up before he can give her any answers.

Shawn and Belle cruise to safety. Steve's in a trance. Kate's humiliated.

Kay is upset when she sees the footage of Miguel kissing Charity. Kay refuses to believe Miguel when he tells her that Charity kissed him. Miguel and Kay's argument is cut short when Miguel spots the fake Charity, without her mask, talking to Julian. Julian worries when Miguel asks the girl where he knows her from. Luis is in agony as he watches a hypnotized Fancy relive her attack. Eve tells Luis not to intervent, saying that Fancy needs to remember exactly what happened. Chad and Whitney stop Theresa right as she's about to tell Ethan the truth. Whitney takes Theresa aside and warns her that if people find out that Little Ethan isn't a Crane, she'll no longer be head of Crane. Theresa has no choice but to keep Little Ethan's paternity a secret for a little longer, since she needs to use the Crane money to keep Miguel from being sent to jail. Endora zaps her favorite band, the Scissor Sisters, into her living room for a private concert.
