China's top economic figure said something back in 2009 that really bothered me and I don't see anybody quoting this. He said this -- quote -- "We've lent a huge amount of money to United States. Of course, we're concerned about the safety of our assets. To be honest, I'm definitely a little worried." But here's the thing that really bothered. He said he hoped that the U.S. would "maintain its good credit," which you are seeing in the news is not happening, "to honor its promises and guarantee the safety of China's assets." Honor its promises. Remember, we're talking about Asia, where honor actually means something. And we're dealing with a country -- you know how China treats its own countrymen, its women, its children. Do you think they're going to treat us any different because we are America when we become a deadbeat borrower? We're playing footsie with these guys. And honestly, it's like going to a bank of Sicily. Oh, it's Sicily, it's great. I was over there. It's wonderful. Yes, isn't Sicily run by mobsters? I'm just saying. No, come on, that's a movie! No, and I'm getting all my loans there and they keep money no matter how far behind I am. They really like me. No, they don't. How are you going to pay that off? Oh, it doesn't matter. They need me. Bank of Sicily needs me. No, no. No, they don't. No, maybe temporarily they do, but in the end, they are going to come for their money. What? They are going to take your assets. They'll take your house. What do you have under your house? What do you have in the ground? Do you have any coal? Do you have any water, any reserves, any oil, anything? When we go bankrupt, the bank of "Sicily" will come for their money. It's about honor. It's about the family. Know what I mean? They don't care about you. They will take your assets and we will owe them -- unless we like to dishonor ourselves. China is our bank of Sicily and they are banking on double-digit growth. They must have it. I just showed you why. If they don't have it, they will be facing a revolution. They have enough people to be completely self-sufficient, not today, but soon. They can sell refrigerators and TVs and cars and everything else to this population forever. They don't necessarily need the rest of the world once they get going, but they do need the rest of the world's resources to be able to have stability. China, some day, will want their payment, America. They will demand payment and they will receive their payment. And if we can't pay, they will do what any other bank would do, emotionlessly take the collateral that they now own. That will be our oil reserves, our land, our resources, our rare minerals, our coal, whatever it is. But they will put themselves first because that's what countries do -- oh, except for us. And we'll have about as much power to say anything to them as we do now when they send us poison dog food and lead-laced toys. They don't care. And we don't say anything. If you think we're going to fight them off? Yes. Yes, did you hear about the new stealth fighter that they have? Oh, it's sweet. Oh, there it is. It wasn't supposed to be ready for five years. Do you know that the military takes over China next year? They have so many people over there they could drop people instead of bombs out of these planes and they would still win. We gave them our super computer back in 1990s. That's a problem. No, no, it's fine. It's just China. Well, now, they have a super computer that is twice the speed as anything else anyone has on the planet. Our Pentagon computers are half the speed as China's new super computer. So, please, can we stop looking at the petty problems? Can we stop arguing about Sarah Palin and the stupid target on a nutjob and start working on the real issues? If I hear one person -- one more person in Congress say, you know, we're going to sit each other. I'm going to sit next to a Democrat and he's going to sit next to Republicans, it's going to be great. We're going to get things done -- shut the pie hole! That's not solving anything. That's playing politics again! Could we just take the time and talk about real issues so we don't tie America up in a pretty little box with a nice pink ribbon around it and deliver the population of the United States of America to China as a little worker bee?
