Glenn Beck: Dems dish more bailouts August 11, 2010 - 13:15 ET GLENN: Okay. Let me give you the last story. Firestorm after Dems cut food stamps to bail out teachers. Now, go with me on this. I just said a half hour ago, I don't think I would buy the Robert Gibbs was a coordinated thing, but on the same day that Robert Gibbs just start swinging at the left is the same day that they and I looked at this story but I did not put them together until now, is the same day that the Democrats found $26 billion in food stamp money to give to the teachers. Now, let me read this. Some Democrats are upset and advocacy groups are outraged over the rating of the food stamp coverage to fund state a bailout that some call a gift to teachers and government union workers. House members convened Tuesday and passed a multi-billion dollar bailout bill for cash wrapped states we'll go into the top of the hour. It's outrageous. But the bill requires that $12 billion be stripped from the supplemental nutrition assistance program known as food stamps to help fund this new bill. First of all, it's a scam. That's not what happened. But I'll explain later. But now let me just play this out. Van Jones meets with all the progressives and says, Hey, you guys have got to behave yourself, you know. You've got to this President's doing what he wants you know, what you want. And you just have to recognize that. And then Nancy Pelosi throws up and they throw Twinkies at her or whatever and then Van Jones at the end of the week says, you know, this has been a historic week. This President has decided to be truly a progressive. This was a turning point this week in this President's find. And then he goes on to say that you need to go out and do the things that you have to do to force this President to do the things he knows are right. Okay. What does that mean, exactly, except at the same time we started having the unions go marching out on the streets, we had ACORN whipping their people up in the democratic or students for a democratic society and talking to them about how death camps are coming and they're going to be rounding you up and you've got to be prepared and you've got to yada, yada, yada. So, whipping everybody up into a frenzy, I really think there's a possibility that this move was made because they can't get you to be violent, they can't get you to do the things that would force this President to do the things that he knows he must do. What are those things? So, on the same night that Robert Gibbs comes out and says, Hey, by the way, the people on the left, you stink, shave your armpits, ladies or whatever he said, and he went after them with an anvil, why would you do that when Van Jones and everybody else is trying to heal, he goes and now, it could be that he is stupid, but on the same day that they go after the food stamp program, which is a scam, by the way, but they go after the food stamp program, do you remember with the Tea Parties, do you remember how they just kept poking, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, trying to get us to react and I kept saying, don't react, don't react, they want. Look at them. They're just portion gasoline on us. Poke, poke, poke, poke. Isn't it strange, it seems like that's what they're doing now to the left, which makes Barack Obama look like he's more centrist, but, also, you're poking people who have a record of violence and taking to the streets and stirring up trouble.
